1923

Manufacture and sale of vacuum bottles begin the elephant adopted as trademark

1948

Kyowa Manufacturing Co., Ltd., is established

1961

Name changed to Zojirushi Corporation

1970

Head Office building and Shiga Manufacturing Plant are completed; new electric rice warmer is launched

1980

Sale of electric air pots commenced

1981

Stainless steel dual-layer vacuum bottles are launched

1986

Zojirushi lists shares on the Second Section of the Osaka Securities Exchange; corporate identity activities are launched; Union Zojirushi Co., Ltd., is established in Thailand

1987

Zojirushi America Corporation is established

1995

Zojirushi-Simatelex Co., Ltd., and Zojirushi Hong Kong Co., Ltd., are established

2001

Mimamori Hotline service is launched

2002

Zojirushi Taiwan Corporation is established

2003

Zojirushi Shanghai Corporation is established

2008

Zojirushi celebrates its 90th anniversary; Vacuum Bottles & Air Pots Pavilion is established

Zojirushi SE Asia Corporation Ltd. is established in Thailand

Zojirushi marks the 100th anniversary of its establishment; listed on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange
